BPGHS 45th Anniversary

I was reading The Sunday Times regarding Mrs Goh regretting her 'peanuts' comment when I came across this:

"The next day, Singaporeans reacted, generally quite critical of her remarks," he told reporters before attending the 45th anniversary dinner of the Bukit Panjang Government High School.

WTF. In what way is the mentioning of BPGHS's anniversary dinner anywhere related to this article? I mean, who would want to know exactly where Mr Goh went after making a comment. Isn't this obvious that Shirleen Ong, the BPGHS principal, had something to do with it? It's always like that. When we were being quarantined after practical exams in Sec 4, we had people taking photos of us...yup, who on Earth would be interested in students being quarantined? It's not like it's some novelty thing. Ever since Shirleen Ong became our principal, BPGHS has been constantly in the news...I wonder why? That Ramayana thing was like so over-publicized too...
