Sushi Buffet

Went with Lisa, Nic, Jess, Andrew, Ray, Wee Yang, Bjorn and Kar Fai for sushi buffet at Suki Sushi today! On my way there, I almost got murdered by Lisa thrice! First at the slope near the bus stop where she tried to push me down. Second at the bus stop near Holland V where she attempted to strangle me. Third at Cine where she listened to Wee Yang and once again tried to strangle me! Nooo, why help Wee Yang bully poor me?! Haha, I havent got death threats since Lisa went to Australia, not that I'm missing it though, because Lisa would make a great killer with her knowlege of how to suffocate people!

Anyway, the buffet was so worth the money! $16.90 for all-you-can-eat and you can order anything you want as long as it's under $4.90! So, of course, we ordered tons of food! However, we were quite sway. Order sashimi, sashimi out of stock; order oysters, the last oysters got snapped up by Kar Fai's table...So, we made do with the rest of the food we had, like the wonderfully generous helping of soft shell crabs! Then again, I dont eat crabs...

Then came this ebi sushi which childish Wee Yang started playing with it's tails after he finished eating. First attempt to throw the tail at us failed but the second one landed on my jacket!! Wa lau eh! Then again, I was going to send the jacket for washing soon anyway, so never mind la.

Order sake too! The waiter said he cannot sell alcholic drinks to school students but I replied that I was already 18. So he requested for my IC. Then he went to take the sake. Upon serving, he requested to see my IC again to check if my birthday has passed or not...Check once can already...why must check twice. In the end, even though only Wee Yang and I were the only above-18 people there, Lisa and Nic drank too. The way Lisa drank was so cute! It looked like she was doing something wrong(she kept looking around before downing the drink)...haha.

Then, from Kar Fai's table came this nice offer of food...that they couldn't finish...because they tasted weird!! There was this fried salmon skin and butter-yaki oysters. The salmon skin looked seriously strange, not to mention that the smell was horrible. However, Kar Fai and Ray kept persuading us to try one...so I did and so regretted it! My face was so contorted after eating the fish skin and the worst part is that Wee Yang and Ray took pictures of my screwed-up face. Then, they proceeded to send the pictures to Andrew, Nic and Lisa's phones...My life is ruined!

The butter-yaki oysters wasnt much better too. They looked kind of disgusting. Butter-yaki means the butter's cooked with oysters but...there was this pasta sauce-looking thing on them too! Plus, Lisa said that the oysters were a bit off too. Poor Kar Fai tried to cheat people into eating them by pretending that they were delicious and ended up with a very pale face. Then again, he ate 3 of them! Whatever for I dont know...

After lunch-cum-dinner, we went to Lisa's house to play cards. I miss going to Lisa's house to play cards sooo much!
