Out with Li Ming
Went out with Li Ming on Tuesday. Damn, it has been such a long time since I went out with her. So first of all, I treated her to lunch at Tonkichi. The potato croquette curry was really really good and large. Definitely worth for money! The houji tea was also quite nice, different from the normal tea they serve at Japanese restaurants.
After lunch, we went to watch A Chinese Tall Story. Seriously, I thought that the show was freaking funny, although some China couple was like dissing the show after it ended. Well, guess they didnt quite like the idea of twisting the story of Journey to the West.
I cant believe I'm saying this but Nicholas Tse was really cute in the show. That lousy 'huh huh huh' monk...haha. The buddha with the jewelled ears was really hilarious and I think that the part where he appeared garnered the most laughs!
After the movie, we went shopping at Kinokuniya where I finally got to use my Christmas vouchers. Didnt buy much also...I mean, how much can you buy with $30?
On wednesday, I met Li Ming at Jantzen. She got a ceramic perm while I got some highlights. Man, the keratin smell was really overpowering! As if that wasnt enough, the hairstylist made me feel like a roasted chicken that just came out of the oven...
Li Ming under that scary-looking machine.
So basically this is how my hair looks like:
Ok, not very obvious...here's another:
Still not very obvious...whatever la...
On Thursday, went to watch movies with my sis. Watched Derailed and In Her Shoes. Derailed was interesting but the storyline was so predictable. In Her Shoes had a nice storyline but I hated the transitions. Plus, this crazy woman was like laughing throughout the movie...No one was laughing by the way. I wonder how her boyfriend feels everytime they go watch a movie. Wait...that's why he brings her to the movies, like that no one can see who they are :P
By the way, it's Friday the 13th today :D
