Out with Li Ming

Went out with Li Ming to Orchard today. We wanted to go see Bjorn at his workplace but we arrived before he started work so we looked quite ridiculous walking around Topshop craning our necks. In the end, we decided to go shopping first before returning to find Bjorn. We went to Bebe and the sandals there are like so freaking pretty! Not to mention that the sandals are freaking tall too...good for short people like me :D However, the price was a little too crazy for me. $39 for a pair of sandals! Crazy...then again, I might buy it because I really like it...Hmmn, let me consider.

Next, we went to Chomel and they were like having some crazy 70% sale or something. I got 2 tops from there for like $9 each. Wahaha, that's like how damn cheap can! Somemore I really liked the designs. Very Japanese :D

After shopping, we went to have tea at Royal Coppenhagen and for some reason or another, that place was like swarmed with Koreans. Then again, there were only Korean aunties but not a single Korean hunk in sight...zzz

After tea, we went back to Topshop again to find Bjorn and this time we managed to find him. He was like talking to his colleague when we saw him. Then after that, he spent like 20-30mins talking to us. Haha, damn slack! Anyway after that, I went home and I spent like the whole journey home sleeping on the MRT to the extent where I missed my stop. Somemore I think I was doing some weird actions while I was asleep but I was too tired to care about it...Haha. Hope I didnt scare the other commuters...

~~~
I had like the most eventful day at work yesterday...
- I purposely arrived early at work so that I could finish printing my curriculum but then the stupid printer died on me. Tried cleaning it but no use, it still refused to function. Called my superior for help and she just pressed some button and the printer started working fine. Unfair! My superior thinks that the printer doesnt like me...Haha.
- Continued to call latepayers and suay suay managed to call a parent who kept complaining to me. Somemore she kept dissing the company. I cant stand parents who have the cheek to diss the company when it's obvious that they are in the wrong because they keep delaying payment. Parents have shitloads of excuses to explain why they forget to make payment...
- Didnt know I had to take class until the class started for like 15 mins. Fuck. I had to like rush into class...without even being prepared.
- Compared height with this Sec 4 girl. To do so, I had to take off my heels. As I was about to wear my heels back, she took off with one of my heels and made me chase her all the way to class, limping.
- There were these 3 schoolboys who kept walking pass my office door and they were saying things like 'Look alike what.', 'Where got?' and 'Got, see properly.' They think they stand outside and talk I cannot hear them one meh? Come on lor, the corridor and my office is just separated by a glass door and somemore they walked past my office door for about 5 times...think I deaf ar?
- Was quite wtf by that lookalike and dont lookalike shit until this teacher came out.
Teacher: Eh, my students say you like some Mediacorp star lei.
Me: Har? You talking about Huixin ar?(Huixin used to act in Mediacorp dramas.)
Teacher: No la, my students say you. Then they asked me if you are some star or something.
Me: (WTF?)Mediacorp artiste where will come here and do part time one?
I went home and told my sister and she told me that last year when we went to Korea, my tour guide commented that I can go and act in dramas. Haha...I can feel my ego swelling :D Then again, maybe he thinks that I can go act as those crazy fangirls because I kept buying Kwon Sang Woo posters in Korea...
Digressing a little...Do I seriously not look like a Singaporean? I was at Orchard today and this woman came up to me to do a survey and when she heard that I was 100% Singporean, she told me she didnt believe me because I dont look like it...Then might as well dont ask...I think I kind of pissed off the surveyor because I just refused to agree with her that it's logical to save $50/month. I kept telling her that $20/mth is good enough...
Getting sleepy already...oyasumi!
Test Answers
Finished marking yet another set of papers. This time round, I marked this girl's paper till I almost died of laughter. Her answers are like so wtf and I seriously dont know what she has been doing during lessons. Let's take a look at some samples from her script.
Q: Explain why 20 marbles were used instead of 1 marble.
A: So that the answer given is correct.
Q: Explain why solid P may not be the solid that sinks in water.
A: Solid P maybe big and it become light and cannot sink but float.
Q: What is parallax error?
A: It means have zero error.
Q: How can parallax error be avoided when taking readings of liquids?
A: Just follow the instruction that given.
Q: Define element.
A: Element is a liquid substance.
Q: Name the elements that make up ammonia.(Chemical formula given too.)
A: Sodium (So) and sulphur (Su).
These answers are like just the tip of the iceberg. There are even more weird answers from her but I'm too tired to type them all out. Haha. Anyway, got to go to bed now or else I can be the ghost for Fun-O-Rama tomorrow :D
Old Photos
Just finished marking a whole stack of test papers. I got quite wtf-ed by some of the answers the students give. They can give you pages of writings(It's Maths somemore!) but they just dont answer the question. I havent totalled up the marks yet but I seriously dont think anyone will pass. Damn tired right now but not tired enough to sleep. I'm hovering between the I-want-to-sleep-but-I-cant mode and the tomorrow-will-look-like-zombie-if-I-dont-sleep-now mode. Whatever...like I care. I always turn up for work yawning and complaining of lack of sleep...so therefore, I decided to update my blog with pictures...from way beyond my time! (Ok, I was sort of crapping.)
My Popo and her daughter, basically my aunt la. Those frills on her dress are like so...so...retro?
My dad in the graduation robe, my Popo and my uncle. My sister said that my uncle looks like Chow Yun Fatt...Haha, maybe not here la.
Uncle, Aunts, Popo, my dad and my mum. I think my mum looks really pretty here. I wonder whatever happened over the years? Now she keeps nagging and nagging at me...Maybe it's marriage.
Dad, Popo, Gugu. My sister said that my dad looks very sneaky here. WTF? One thing I cant stand about this photo is my dad's waist. Is that waist even human?! That's like how freaking thin can!
Actually, the previous photo of my father wasnt the worse. The next one's even more powerful...
Hahaha, what's with the pair of pink trousers that are freaking tight and high? Disco King...haha.
Enough of my family's side...now lets look at Andrew's side.
Timothy looks so cute in this photo!(bottom left corner) Now he's just too skinny...Aunt Lucy has short hair in this photo too! So rare! Haha. Plus, I cant stop laughing when I saw Philip in the photo.(top right) Andrew looked so much like him when he was much younger! Somehow I'm predicting William to go through that stage before he turns into an Andrew-lookalike...
Ok, I think I'll be going off to bed now...or else I'll just continue to write crap. Oyasumi!
Out with Aaron + Tuition
Went out with Aaron today to Bugis. Was supposed to meet him at Bugis but decided to meet up at Buona Vista instead. When he arrived the train just arrived so I told him to get on first then later find me inside the train. However, I mixed up the front and back of the train so it wasnt until we reached Bugis then we met...Haha. Anyway, in the train, there was this middle-aged woman who had a Lion King inspired hairstyle, coupled with that similar striking colour, seated like 6 seats away from us. I couldnt help but laughing at her and when I told my sister about it, she also laughed. However, when the lady was about to get off the train, she kept staring at us...Haha...I think she noticed us laughing at her :P
So anyway, Aaron gave me this weirdest Valentine's Day present I ever received...army food. Haha, like I'm going to go to the army like that. We ate at Fish and Co and even though it was lunchtime, there was like nobody eating there. Plus, the ceiling of that particular Fish and Co was like leaking...Cool place sia.
After lunch I wanted to go shopping but Aaron didnt want to. However, ended up he was the one even more enthusiastic about window shopping. Haha, wtf. Later, I met my sister in the toilet and so I asked her to hold my bag for me. After I came out of the toilet, she was nowhere in sight so I thought that she was in the cubicle so I waited and waited. Just nice there was another girl who was waiting for her friend and when she saw me waiting, she was so scared that her friend wasnt in the toilet so she called out for her...So it ended up that my sister wasnt in the toilet afterall...made me wait for nothing. Haha.
Afterwards, we did a little more window shopping before I went home to prepare myself for my first ever home tuition. I thought that Guilin View was very near to my house but I miscalculated and I ended up panting like mad when I arrived at the guy's house. Seriously ar, his Chinese is like really lousy and I had to keep writing hanyu pinyin for him so that he could read the text. When it came to doing exercises, he managed to get a few questions correct but then he told me that he guessed the answers one...Walau eh...In the end, I had to conduct the lesson in English so that he would be able to understand what I was trying to explain...I was so tired after the session then I realised something...I had to walk all the way home again. Damn.
'Season of Love'
Went to watch this movie called 'Season of Love' with Li Ming today.
From the movie title, we thought that it was a love story but when the movie started, the Korean title read 'Sad Movie'. WTF? Whoever translated the movie title must have a very weird definition of sad and love...However, the show was freaking sad and I couldnt stop crying while watching it.
I didnt know that Lee Ki Woo acted in this movie too. Haha, he looks so different here as compared to his character in The Classic. However, he was such a jerk, or so I felt, in the last part of the movie.
Cha Tae Hyun! Haha, I seriously like his haristyle and I think that he really suits the 'gong gong' kind of look. For the bulk of the show, Cha Tae Hyun's scenes were more of funny than sad but the last part where he spoke to his reflection was really heart-breaking. Hmmn, I think I shall like Cha Tae Hyun from now on. Haha.
Cute boy! Somehow he kind of reminds me of Zhiyi in this picture. Hahaha.
Woo...Jung Woo Sung. Damn, he looks so cool in this show man. So different from his sexy Giordano advertisments with Jeon Ji Hyun...haha. The last part where they showed his dying video was so sad k! It's really 'Sad Movie'.
So sweet!
One thing weird about this show is that the director and writer of Sad Movie is the same person who wrote and directed S Diary. WTF? The two movies are like so different! Haha.
After the movie, we went CD shopping and I bought Bi's debut Japanese single, Sad Tango. Damn...Bi looks so good as a gangster and his dance moves rocks. Plus, I like buying Bi's CDs because they always come with a damn big poster! Haha.
CNY Party
Went for the CNY party organised by Just Education. Woah, I didnt expect them to really give us angpows! However, since my friends and I are part-time staff, we didnt get the chance to participate in the lucky draw. Damn! Considering Huixin, Sharon and I were the latest to arrive, the rest of the people had already finished playing the first round of games and next was 'lo-hei'. Everyone lo-ed like no one's business like that. In the end, the table had more ingredients on it than in the plate itself. No one ate the yu sheng anyway. Haha.
Vicki, Min Qi, Alicia. Vicki and Alicia look so much alike here! Haha...scary :P
Jerelynn(my OIC), Huixin, Vicki, Me, Hui Koon
After that, most people either went home or stayed back for karaoke, mahjong and games. All the part-timers got to play this Taiwan game but no one managed to get the top prize of $500. Damn, it's all Kenny's fault. Vicki's group had to drink this vile concoction of ginger + apple juice. Eew...after they drank them, all of them either wanted to puke or had to eat something to get rid of the taste. After the game, everyone proceeded to the karaoke room where all the bigwigs were playing mahjong. Haha. The worst thing was that Francis Ang left his girlfriend sitting there all by herself while he himself played mahjong the whole time...Anyway, I stayed there till around 2am where I received a call from my mum asking me to go home...
So my mum came to pick me up from the party but she walked like 2m in front of me after that. WTF? Like that must as well I just walk home myself...no difference anyway...
Malaysia Trip
Finally, I'm updating here after being MIA for like a few weeks :D So yup, I went to Malaysia to celebrate Chinese New Year with my father's family. One thing different that happened during this trip as compared to the past was that we went out shopping or sight seeing almost every day! In addition to it, my grandma actually followed us! :D As I'm too lazy to document everything that happened over the 6 days we visited, I'll just do a short photo blog. Hee hee.
In preparation to welcome the God of Fortune.
The brothers Chin. :P
Popo standing in front of a measuring board at Giant.
Doesnt this look so real? The artist who drew the painting is really good!
Popo with my cap :D So cute!
Putrajaya. This place is freaking scenic!
Popo and Me standing in front of whatever that building is.
Palace of Justice. The flooring there is seriously bad. Bad in the sense that a few of them have already chipped. Plus, the lamps there are like freaking shaky.
I never knew Sunway Hotel was so pretty! I also didnt know that Sunway was such a big name. Sunway Lagoon, Sunway Hotel, Sunway Shopping Mall, Sunway College(WTF?) or something...
Dinner at this place (I forgot the name) where the decor was freaking cool! The whole place was decorated with old song records.
Nice picture :D
Me and Popo again.
Yup, I guess I'll end here. More pictures over
here.
