Lunch at Harbourfront
Boarded 947 yesterday and tapped my wallet against the EZlink card reader. Nothing happened. Tapped again. Still nothing. Then I realised...my mum took my card to help me top up the value but forgot to return it to me. Shit, got to pay by coins but I had no coins left. Asked the very first uncle seated in front but he told me he paid by card so he had no coins. WTF? Doesnt make sense lo. He then pointed over to the auntie who was scratching her feet with her hands and asked me to request from her. The auntie saw him pointing at her and started to open up her wallet to search for coins...but she didnt have too...LUCKILY! Cant imagine if she had coins, I might not even want to take them from her.
When I reached the MRT station, I realised that I was going to Harbourfront and the fare there was freaking expensive. Somemore got that $1 shit and I didnt have coins! Anyway, reached Harbourfront and met up with Kym, Wee Yang and Ray to makan. It's was Ray's last lunch before he goes to the army and we wanted to dupe him into paying for our lunch. Too bad it didnt happen :( Man, I seriously miss those days where we get to see Ray and Kym bicker like every other day in school. Haha, great entertainment! After lunch, Kym and Wee Yang had to go back to work...I cant believe that I actually went all the way to Harbourfront just to have lunch when I stay at Bukit Gombak!
Waited at the bus stop for 188 to arrive with Ray. Sat there for like 15-20 mins but there was no 188 in sight. Another 5-10mins passed before Ray realised that 188 does not stop there! Had to walk to the bus interchange to wait for 188 all over again as it had just left...blur Ray...
Went for tuition at night and surprisingly, the boy was so attentive for the first half of the lesson. I knew it was too good to be true though. He started getting restless and took a 7min break instead of the 2min I allowed him and he like rolled all over his mattress when he returned from his break...plus he wrote crap answers for the work I told him to do...grrrr...I think he's so going to fail his mid-terms.
Stop changing stands!
Had the suckiest day at work today. There was this teacher who did not turn up for lesson today and it turned out that he placed his leave form in his attendance file instead of passing it to us. However, we still got blamed for it because we did not check the attendance. I think this is fucking unfair because...
1) The teacher's dumb or what? He should have had passed us the form.
2) It wasnt his first time taking leave. He should have had known better.
3) Why the fuck do we get blamed?! We are supposed to check attendance not EVERY week but EVERY OTHER week...fuck.
As if this wasnt bad enough, Ms Chua could not come again! WTF? Anyway, none of my business today because they found a relief. Received some asshole news today and that is I'm not entitled to have lunch on Sundays on which I work only for half a day. Some people might think it's no big deal because I'm working half day anyway but this is not what pissed me off. The thing that really pissed me off is that:
1) I have to rush down from class to work so there's no time for me to makan at all.
2) I used to not have lunch at work because I knew I was working half day.
3) Only started having lunch when during a certain week, my superior asked if I had eaten and when I gave her a negative answer, she told me to go and eat.
4) And now she fucking says that it's not allowed...
I fucking hate people who keep changing their stand. The lunch thing wasnt the last straw that made my day fucking cloudy today. It was the chair incident...
1) I used to put a chair at the extension to keep the door ajar.
2) My superior messaged me a long time ago to tell me to keep it because she was scared that people might used it to jump off the building. WTF?
3) Now she accuses me of not putting the chair out. This fucking idiot actually went in 40mins late because he/she thought that the door was locked. WTF? I havent put the chair out for like a few months already lar...you mean the idiot went in late every single fucking time meh?
Today's really a freaking bad day...then again, there was this student who said that I was hot and wanted my number. Hot? Please lo...it was like raining the whole day today. Then again, maybe he said that because my face looked freaking red today due to my shitty wisdom tooth. I feel like I'm going to get sick soon because of my wisdom tooth...all the better...can take leave from work and dont have to face some people at work.
Thursday and Good Friday
Went to Orchard with Donna on Thursday and I was late for like almost half an hour...sorry! We ate at this Omu Rice place at Takashimaya and it was like damn worth for money. The amount of food they gave me made me feel full for almost the whole day! Next, we went shopping at the Hello Kitty store and I bought a mechanical pencil and pen for like $16 each! I didnt even realise that it was that expensive till I paid the money...Shit...must open my eyes wider next time. Then again, at least the stationeries were cute :D Next stop was Kinokuniya and then Hereen. Donna bought a pair of shoes at Hereen but we had to collect them from Far East because they were out of stock so we like walked all the way there. My heels almost killed me! The worst thing was that I felt like purchasing Korean food so we actually walked back to Cineleisure from Far East! WTF...we are like freaking crazy!
We took a bus back and luckily my tutee's mum cancelled his tuition because we were stuck in a jam and took more than an hour to reach CCK. It was so cold in the bus that the guy one row in front of us actually used tissue paper to stuff the air-con vent. Talk about desperate. Then again, he wasnt the worse. Donna and I were like talking in the bus and this stupid guy seated next to Donna kept listening to our conversation! I know our conversation was damn interesting and somewhat kee siao but he didnt have to blatantly show that he was evaesdropping...By the time we got off the bus, I felt like a frozen chicken and I couldnt even move my legs properly. Haha.
On Friday, I went out with Li Ming to Orchard again. Watched this Korean movie called 'The Art of Seduction'. Initially I thought that this was some M18 movie from the title but turned out that this was actually a 100% comedy. The show was like freaking good and the leads were good-looking! Especially the male lead, Song Il Guk! Then again, I just found out that he's like 35 years old this year. Why are all those good-looking people so 'matured'?! Take for example Brad Pitt, Kwon Sang Woo and blah blah blah.
It was raining, or rather, pouring, when we had to walk from Takashimaya to Cineleisure so we had no choice but to buy umbrellas. Actually, there was actually a small queue for umbrellas at Taka...haha. I wanted to sell my umbrella to anyone who needed it at Cine since they dont sell umbrellas there but decided against it in case it was still raining after the movie...which it wasnt of course...so wasted! I spent like freaking lots of money on Friday man...I bought this Japanese novel by Akagawa Jiro from Kino. When I say Japanese, it means that the whole book's in Japanese and not translated into Chinese. Shit...how am I going to push myself to actually finish reading the book? I need a dictionary man!
My shoe broke
Took this Sec 3 Combined Chem class yesterday. Seriously, they gave me this feeling that I was totally invisible to them. They were inattentive, noisy and just refused to do their work...except for a certain few. Anyway, it's not only me who think this way, the previous relief teacher had the same comments as me. Dont know why they come for tuition if they just want to slack...
I was awaken at an unearthly hour of 9am this morning by a sms from a student saying that the lesson he was attending at school was very boring. Wah...I slept at around 2am last night lei! The worst thing was that I could not go back to sleep after waking up...so instead I went to watch TV and smsed. Next, when I was on my way to work, my shoe freaking broke!!! So suay can! Somemore it was raining so I could not walk barefooted but could only drag my feet all the way to work. When I reached the staircase, I just heck-cared and took off my shoes and ran up barefooted...because I was already running late. Basically I just walked around my workplace without shoes for like a few hours before going downstairs to purchase a new but fugly pair. Luckily all my superiors werent at work today...whew!
Anyway, the teacher for the P6 classes I took last week came back this week. However, when I entered the class today to get something, the students were still trying to take my photo!!! WTF? Somemore, today even worse. After their class, they even came to the counter to continue taking...So I was like trying to cover my face while processing payment for those who came to pay fees...
Tomorrow's Team Building Day. Wonder what's in store. Hope it's not some shitty Sec 3 torture camp-like thingy!
My legs are breaking
On Thursday, I called this relief teacher to remind her of the classes she was slated to take. She was cool about it and agreed on the timings. However, on Friday, she called again to say that she's unable to make it. WTF? So in the end, I had to do OT today so that there would be someone to relief the last class.
So today I entered the office feeling damn relaxed because all I had to do today was to take 1 clinic and take 2 classes. Then, all hell broke loose. At around 10.15am, we realised that yet another relief teacher couldnt make it although he had already confirmed with us and he did not have the courtesy to inform us. What the hell is wrong with these idiots?! Thus, Sharon had to relief instead. Then at 10.20am, another teacher called to tell us that she has high fever so Huixin went to relief her class. Next, at 10.30am, Mr Png and another teacher called to take leave so there went Sharon's day. She basically had to relief classes from 10am to 6pm. We were about to reassign clinics due to the absence of teachers when Ms Chua called. She too had fever! So I had to relief classes from 12pm to 8pm today. Freak! That's like 4 classes in total and I was like wearing freaking high high-heels!
My superior, who was on leave today, called me to assign jobs to me. Even when I told her that everyone's going to be busy today, she still continued assigning tasks. Then...I accidentally complained to the other superior...Ta-da, so my superior got sort of reprimanded. After that, she came to tell me that she did not say that I had to finish everything by today but it's if I have time then do...WTF? Totally different from what she said in the first place!
The P6 classes I took today were like freaking clever can! They finished the worksheets like so much faster than the other 2 weekday classes! They had practically nothing to do before I went through the answers so they kept asking me questions. Why do people always ask me if I am Japanese or Korean?! Then again, this class asked lesser questions than the P4 class I took the other day. The P4 class was like sheer torture. The boys kept running all about and just refused to listen to me. They also finished almost all of the pantry's food...They also kept asking weird questions like what kind of shows I watch and there's always this question of 'Teacher, what's your name?' cuz I dont like to introduce myself at the start of the class.
Anyway, I have this new nickname to add on. The P4 students actually called me JANITOR can! Walau, just because last week I mopped the floor once and now I'm stuck with this nickname...Luckily I wasnt the one taking their English class today or else I will die man...
I just realised something weird. My new colleague, who's in charge of Maths, was not assigned to relief this Maths class on Thursday. Normally I'll relief most Maths & all Science classes but since I'm off on Thursday, naturally the person in charge of Maths would be supposed to relief. However, Eileen assigned the class to Sharon with the reason being the colleague's new. WTH? I remember my first day at work I was sent to relief classes already...I wasnt new at that time meh?!
Anyway, I think work's going to get suckier now...because so many people are leaving! Sianz...!

I finally got to see my new colleague the day before. Somehow or rather, she seriously reminds me of ajima. Maybe not 100% but around 99%...
Recently, for some shit reason or another, this guy has been calling me 'Ruhua'. Yar, he's refering to that Taiwanese Ruhua who likes to place stockings on her head...As if that isnt bad enough, now there are at least 3 classes who know me as Ruhua...WTF? I dont have name one meh? Last time I used to get ridiculed at when I walk into his class...now I get laughed at whenever I walk into any of the 3 classes. Sian! The worst thing is that I would be relief-ing his class at the end of the month. Damn, I think I would just get laughed at for the whole 2 hours...
On the bright side, I get nice comments from students and parents too. Nice...but weird. One parent said that I look like Dae Jang Geum because there was one time I tied my hair up into a bun. Please, my hairstyle where got so elaborate as Lee Young Ae? That one will confirm give me headaches one. Then just yesterday, there was this parent who kept staring at me for quite some time before coming up to tell me that I was very pretty...I seriously dont know whether I should be happy or feel weird. Haha.
Relief 2 classes yesterday. The first class was like in chaos and I had to bribe them with sweets and biscuits so that the students would not take photos of me. While they were doing their work, somehow or rather, everyone started to whip out their camera phones and tried to take photos of me. I had to walk around the class with the worksheet covering my face and I even contemplated using the rubbish bag to cover my face. Some of them managed to take my photo but I look damn weird in all of them...and they refuse to delete them and went to set it as their wallpaper instead...wtf.
The second class was like a 180 degree turn from the first one. They were like soooo freaking quiet and everyone just did their work quietly...but only for like an hour or so. When I started going through the answers, suddenly everyone became hyperactive. I think it might be due to the sweets I gave them. Haha, like real. Then after class, this girl said that I can be a good teacher...because I am funny. Wah lau, like that I might as well go be a comedian.

I cant seem to get along well with somemone at work, no matter how hard I try. Every time I try, I'll just end up getting angry. Plus, being angry all the time causes premature aging. Maybe I should just stop trying. In short, work kind of sucks now considering that Huixin and Eileen are leaving soon. Then again, maybe not everything sucks...I just got a pay rise...but I dont even feel happy about it. Man, what's wrong with me? :(
