The Chinese test was so badly done. Even though I had Sam and Hy seated beside me, I still think I did not do well for the test. It's going to be another round of scolding by my Chinese teacher.

In class, Li Ming noticed that Ray's zipper was not fully zipped up and she had to tell me that. So we told him,'Ray, it's open.' However, he did not seem to understand what was going on so he gave us this puzzled look. Then, Ping Hwei, who was surprisingly fast today, realised what we were talking about so he shouted, 'Ray, your (makes some hand action) is open.' Then only did Ray noticed it, following which he said, 'It's always like that.' Li Ming and I started laughing like some mad women, especially me. Plus Ping Hwei kept trying to teach me breathing exercises so I laughed even more, resulting in my face turning beetroot-red and it was extremely hot. It did not help that everyone started laughing at me after seeing my face and kept asking 'What did Ray do to you?'

Then, during Tech Council, I managed to bluff Bryan Chua that Li Ming took Korean as her mother tongue :P Some reason or other, he started talking about him having to serve NS in Singapore and Malaysia. The way he said it was so hilarious that we ended up laughing like mad again.

Daryl thought I had eyeliner on during TC. Shit, this is so bad because I did not put eyeliner on. This means...eyebags from all those late night Chinese studying...sucks.

School has reopened for 1 week and I've been feeling very tired from all those Chinese tests. I think that my 2 Chinese teachers are bent on killing us. Schedule for Chinese tests go as follow:

Wk 1 Monday: Gu Wen test that was postponed.
Wk 1 Tuesday: Cha Guan Scene 1 test
Wk 1 Thursday: Gu Wen test
Wk 2 Monday: Spelling(75 words)
Wk 2 Tuesday: Cha Guan Scene 2 test
Wk 2 Thursday: Test on Meanings
Wk 3 Tuesday: Cha Guan Scene 3 test
Wk 3 Monday: Cha Guan Scene 1,2,3 test

How on earth am I going to study? On a lighter note, last week was quite a happy week. My friends and I were sort of like stalking somebody for the whole week. I can't believe how lucky we were to see that person for every single school day. We even took a video of him. Haha, we sound so desperate. Plus, I managed to knock my leg against the chair while in the midst of filming, thus resulting in a bruise of radius 2cm on my leg. It looks so disgusting and it hurts.

On Thursday, I went to watch the Spongebob Square Pants movie with Sean and Hy. Hmmn, and at one point of time, I felt so 'bright'...haha. Then today, I went to watch Miss Congeniality 2 with Li Ming. While rushing towards the cinema because we were freaking late, we came across this guy with makeup and a bandana(however you spell it) on, shaking his butt while walking with his hands moving to the rhythmn of his whistling. It was such a yucky sight and I couldn't stop laughing till we reached the cinema.
On my way home, I had to sit across this uncle with a red nose in the MRT. He kept staring at me and it was so creepy. *shivers* Why couldn't it be Hyesung or Hyesung prime seated opposite?

Everyday when I take a look at what my mom cooks, I feel like puking. It's the same menu for dinner everyday. Okay, maybe not the same method of cooking but it's the same ingredients. Tofu, vegetables, fishballs and chicken(!). Of all the different kinds of meat, she had to use chicken meat. No matter how many times I tell her that I don't like eating chicken, she would always cook it for dinner. Then, when I refuse to eat, she'll then kick up a big fuss saying that I always don't eat when she cooks. If's that really the case, I would have gone to heaven long ago.

Today, I finally smelt something different from the kitchen. A very strong mushroom smell. I thought that she was cooking some mushroom dish but to my horror, the mushroom went into the rice. The rice now contains mushroom and cabbage. Eew. What kind of rice is that? In addition to that, the only dish left besides the rice is soup, that once again contains tofu. I don't have to eat dinner...Cheers.

On Tuesday, my sister and I went to watch this Disney on Ice thing at Expo. The performance was quite interesting, but not as 'interesting' as what happened on our way back. We first took the MRT back because the taxi stand queue at Expo was freaking long and there was an additional charge of $2.00 if we hail a taxi at the Expo. On the MRT, we saw this girl dressed up like Snow White. She was quite cute...till she starting sticking her finger into her nose. Then, using the same finger, she proceeded to 'brush' her teeth with it. As if that wasn't enough, this guy seated next to me was too, on a quest to find gold, right up his nose. Plus, he smelt like as if he had not bathed for a few days. I was so glad that we finally got off at Queenstown.

As we walked towards the taxi stand, we noticed 2 ladies standing at the end of the taxi stand, obviously waiting for a taxi. In order to confirm that they were waiting for a taxi, as we walked past them, I purposely raised my voice and asked my sister, 'Is that(pointing in the direction of the taxi stand) the start of the taxi stand?' However, they had no reaction so I guessed that they were waiting for someone else to pick them or something. Then, after we walked to the start of the taxi stand, a taxi came approaching. The 2 ladies then started to hail down the taxi. WTF. Anyway, the taxi just drove past them and stopped in front of us. Still thinking that the taxi was waiting for them, they started walking over, only to be intercepted by US! I just opened the car door, with a triumph expression on my face, and got into the cab, while hearing them going, 'Where got like that one?!', while they walked towards the start of the taxi stand. Haha, that was good.

The taxi driver then told us that it was only right of him to stop at the taxi stand when I started dissing those 2 ladies. Then, he asked us who came first. When I said it was them who came us, the taxi driver was sort of taken aback and he stopped talking. :) OMG, I just love pissing people off when I'm in the right.

Went to school today for make-up Chinese lessons. As soon as I stepped into the school, the security guard came up to me.

Guard: What are you doing in school for?
Okay, this question sounds logical enough.
Me: For Chinese lessons.
Guard: Where are you going?
What? Of course a classroom la, or else where?
Me: Computer lab.
Guard: Does your teacher know about this?
My teacher told me to go for lessons, of course he knows about it.
Me: Yes.

He wanted to ask me more questions but I was saved by the next girl entering the school so he went to bug her. I was like in school uniform, do I look like a potential thief who will steal things from the school. Anyway, what's there to steal from school? Hy who came later than me got asked questions too and she had to sign-in before he allowed her to enter. Sign-in? WTF. Which student signs in just to enter her own school? Sounds like signing in to see someone in jail.

Guards of ACJC just piss me off for some reason. I remember that incident that happened last year during the first 3 months.
The sports complex is separated from the main building by a track. That day we had swim pe and the swimming pool is like in the sports complex. After swim pe, a group of us started walking back to school. When we reached the security guard(the main entrance is sandwiched between the sports complex and main building), he started to irritate us...

Guard: You all are late for school right?
Us: Huh?
Guard: You all came in from the back gate and pretend that you are not late right?
WTF, who sneaks in to school with their hair wet and untied?
Us: We just came back from swim pe and we're walking back to class.
Guard: Dont lie. You want to go and see Mdm Tham?(our DM)
Fuck. Say the truth also don't belive.
Us: Sir, we're really not late. If you don't believe, you can check the attendance book.

Somehow or rather, he decided to let us go, but not without warning us not to sneak in from the back gate. Some people just don't get the point. The first half of our class who went back first were looking and laughing at us from class. It's not because they were gloating, it's because the same guard bugged them too. After that incident, I've never seen the guard again. Guess he got fired...haha

Every Sunday mornings, I'll book a taxi so that I'll have transport to go for tuition at Bugis. Today was no exception. I was waiting for the taxi to arrive when this van kept honking at me. Then, I realised that instead of sending a car to pick me up, the taxi company sent a van. A bit exaggerating for one person to take up a whole van. Anyway, I had a hard time opening the door of the taxi and closing it. It felt so strange sitting in such a big van all by myself(excluding the driver). I used to engage the services of Comfort and they always send a normal car-looking taxi. However, City Cab always give me funny looking taxis. First it was the Mercedes cab and then the van. Anyway, the prices are all the same so I don't really mind and it's sure cool to take a Mercedes cab right in front of school. Haha.

Went to cut my hair today also, after an abscence of 9 whole freaking long months.(Man, that's enough to conceive one baby!) The salon was a small one with only 6 seats. However, there were like 12 people in there and almost everyone was perming or dying their hair so the whole room smelt of keratin, which I personally hate the smell. I waited about 45 mins before it was my turn and by that time, I had already watched half of the variety show playing on TV. OMG, I cut my hair really short and I am so missing my long hair...waa. It's so short and smooth(I did treatment) now that it feels very strange, especially the short bit. I wish it could grow faster. However, now when I tie my hair up, I have a fringe! Actually, the hair length's like that time when I went to China.

Went for the NUS Open House with Kymberlyn today. Since we were quite early, we were the first people to enter the MPSH. Being typical students, we chose to sit around the back part of the hall but the usher asked us to fill the places in front. So, we moved in front, to about 5 rows from the front. Seeing this, the usher came again to ask us to fill up the first row.

First of all, I do not understand what's so nice about sitting in front. You would have to raise your head to look at the speaker and this will give me a neck-ache.
Next, I believe in freedom so why should I conform to moving in front? Therefore, I told the usher that there would be people coming in later to fill the front seats up so there was no need for us to move. I guess he realised that he couldn't do anything to us so he left to bother others with his ushering.

Anyway, I so regret attending the Office Admissions talk. All I heard from the lecture was how great NUS is and why we should choose NUS instead of other universities. Luckily, the guy ended his speech early or else I might just snore in it. Following the lecture, Kym and I were figuring out where the exhibition hall was when these two guys came up to ask if we would like to join the sports camp. Since we both have an intense dislike for camps, we said no. In addition to it, both of us are bad at reading maps so in the end, I had to ask the two guys if they knew where the exhibition hall was. Turned out that they too did not know where it was. However, clever me re-read the map and found the place :) After saying thanks, I turned to leave when they asked the same 'Do you want to join sports camp?' question. OMG, don't they get the meaning of no?

The exhibition hall turned out to be quite interesting, and I was there, shamelessly taking all the freebies(and brochures) I could take. I guess I'm quite interested in the Dentistry Course but the only obstacle is that I need a good A level pass for Physics, which I currently only obtained an O. Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences sounded quite okay to me too. I so want to take Japanese studies and go for the Student Exchange Programme to Japan. Then again, the obstacle obstructing me to do so is Physics again. I think I need a Physics tutor, either that, I drop Physics and throw away the possibility of getting admitted to Dentistry.

After finishing what we had to do at the exhibition hall, Kym, Andrew and I went over to the Cultural Centre to have a drink. Broke Andrew got a drink treat from Kym and a cake treat for me. I think I'm such a nice classmate :)

After that, I met Li Ming for a movie called 'Boogeyman'. It was so freaking scary and I was like screaming throughout the whole show. I think the people in the cinema must have had thought that I was crazy or something:)

Today was such a freaking bad day for me...

Morning - Had an arguement with my mother over the perfume I use.
Afternoon - Got blasted at and insulted at by my Chinese teacher over my composition...
Late Afternoon - I had to break down in front of my Chinese class...I was so freaking pai-seh...

Anyway, thanks to hy for comforting me after that...I truly appreciated it :)

I went for the TC outing today, surprisingly. It did not turn out that bad as expected, except that everyone was so freaking late. We were supposed to assemble at 1pm and the vice-president arrived at 1.40pm while the president arrived at 2 something. Wow, they were so early! Anyway, we went to Yoshinoya to eat and Haoyang and I had this so pai-seh miso soup drinking contest. We were supposed to use straws to drink up the miso soup. It was so idiotic.

So after that, we went to Great World City to watch a movie. Daryl paid for the movie tickets with a freaking $100 note...wtf, I've never seen a student bring a $100 with him, well, maybe not a single $100 note...

So anyway, we watched Hitch today. Quite a nice show but I prefered Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. That's not the point. The point is that there was this uncle seated behind me with his a-peh slippers placed conveniently placed at my face level. So, I ended up smelling his pungent foot smell for the whole show till I had to sit so in front to avoid smelling so much of that poisonous gas.
Besides that smelly uncle, Daryl was crying during the movie. OMG, I so can't believe it...why would anyone cry during a comedy?

After the movie, Sean, Haoyang and I went to eat at this sushi restaurant. Hy and I ordered this nattou thingy that tasted so much like beer and we were regreting it because it cost $5.30. What a waste of money...We ended up adding pepper to it but it still tasted bad. After the nattou experience, we went to take neoprints where Sean kept avoiding the camera and we had to pull him into the photo...I love neoprints, it somehow 'deletes' all your pimples and flaws...haha
